In collaboration with the Etayi Constituency Office, Tonata engaged the Ministry of Agriculture to provide capacity building for local support groups.
A Marula jam production training was held in March at the Etayi constituency office, attended by 46 representatives of the support groups in Etayi. The training was free, with support groups coordinating the provision of necessary materials, such as marula fruits, pots, firewood, containers, and sugar.
Several groups have already gone on to train their members and have started generating income through jam sales. Through this initiative, we emphasize the role of partnerships in empowering communities and promoting economic advancement.
